EFFORTS TO DEVELOP CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH HABITS IN PONDOK PESANTREN

Abstract

This research is motivated by an observation in the field that to develop character education for students there are several processes that must be considered by an educator, including through the process of habituation. Here the researchers took the research location at the Nusa Putra Raudhatul Irfan Islamic Boarding School to observe the activities and activities of the students every day. To develop character education through this habituation, the researchers and the students also feel what the students do every day. Among them, the first results were obtained, the students used to practice the Fardhu prayer five times in congregation in the mosque or in the dormitory. Second, students get used to eating on time, students get used to exercise in the morning after Fajr prayer and other habits.
